Golfing At St. George's

Welcome to St. George’s Golf Club, Canada’s premier private golf club. We are delighted to host you and want to ensure your visit is as enjoyable as possible. Please take a moment to review the following guidelines to help you experience the Club at its best.

Arrival

Upon arrival, please check in at the security gate located at the Princess Margaret entrance. A member of our team will assist you with your clubs, direct you to the bag drop area if needed, and answer any questions you may have about locating the locker room or other facilities. They will also notify your member host of your arrival. As a guest, you must be accompanied by your member host at all times while on the property. If you arrive before your host, you are welcome to relax in the clubhouse lounge or make use of the locker room until they join you.

Pace of Play

A hallmark of St. George’s is a well-paced and enjoyable round of golf. We kindly ask all guests to maintain a pace of play that allows for an 18-hole round to be completed in four hours. Members are responsible for ensuring their guests adhere to this standard. Groups that fall behind may be approached by club staff and are expected to take the necessary steps to keep pace with the group ahead. To assist in maintaining pace, forecaddies are required for groups in which the number of guests exceed the number of members.  The use of golf carts is also encouraged.

Cell Phones and Wireless Devices

At St. George’s, we value the uninterrupted enjoyment of the game and the camaraderie of our members. To preserve the club’s tranquil atmosphere, all wireless communication devices must remain on silent mode at all times, including on the golf course. Phone calls are permitted only in the parking lot and locker rooms. Discreet messaging and email use are allowed, provided they do not disrupt play or detract from the experience of fellow members and guests.

Smoking and Vaping

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the Clubhouse and are only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
